We are pleased to also share with you some information about our retirement and "assisted" living community. Currently we have 39 individual houses scattered over our forty-five acres, with permits in place to add 8 new units starting in the Spring of 2011.  We provide a great variety of services in our retirement homes.  We can deliver three meals a day, assist with basic care needs, and provide transportation, cleaning services, etc.  We have potential to provide 24-hour staffing when necessary.  While most of our retirement population are totally independent, these extra services have proven invaluable when they have been needed, and have added a sense of safety and security for our residents and their families.  New houses cost approximately $100 per sq. foot for a life lease, and the life-lease depreciates at 1% per month for fifty months and then depreciates at 2% year after the first 50 months.  Typically, we charge a $400 - $450 per month maintenance fee, and that fee covers electric, mowing, maintenance, trash removal, and even appliances and insurance costs.  (Pretty much everything but your phone and TV charges!)  However, the cost of nursing care and meals, etc. is not covered by the monthly fee.  If you are considering a retirement community, why not give us a call and let us answer your questions.  We would love to show you around and introduce you to others here in our community.  For a sample contract and house plan, please download our brochure at the bottom of this page.
